Carolina Clinic for Health and Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. This role is ideal for a Medical Assistant who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality clinical care across primary care, internal medicine, gynecology, and urgent care services.

Responsibilities
- Assist providers during patient exams and clinical procedures
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic testing
- Record accurate patient histories, vital signs, and clinical information
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked examination rooms
- Manage and update patient medical records within the EHR system
- Provide patient education regarding treatment plans and health conditions
- Triage patients and support urgent care needs as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in medical-surgical, internal medicine, gynecology, geriatrics, inpatient, or urgent care settings strongly desired
- Solid understanding of basic physiology and internal medicine principles
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems preferred
