Job Description
Five main areas of focus for this role/team:
Supplier Integration – Guidewire is system. The goal is to take the portfolio of 275 P&C Claims Suppliers and integrate them into Guidewire. So there could be IT integrations involved.
Supplier Diversification – example given was Enterprise Rent a Car. They’re a sole supplier, and we want to look at bringing on additional suppliers to get best price, be more competitive.
Roadmaps and scorecards – creating and building scorecards. Data & Analytics background is helpful – someone who can make something complex simpler.
Technology & System Roadmap – take existing roadmap and overlay it with supplier roadmaps to ensure they’re moving forward together as partners.
Supplier Outages – IT partners and ensure the structure is stable. Create an infrastructure for outages
Required:
· Supplier & Vendor experience
· Roadmap & process mapping
· Able to know when to escalate
· Guidewire integration (API) helpful.
· Solutioning around integration
· Reporting and Data & Analytics background is a plus
· Vendor/Supplier management skills are more important than claims but prefer a combo of both.
· Ideal Candidate: someone who worked with an insurance carrier, and their vendors & suppliers (scorecards, dashboards).
Soft skills:
· Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment – maintain a quick pace & rigor without a lot of handholding. Take a vision & strategy and moving things forward.
· Agility, change adoption, flexibility, moving with pace with little direction
· Communication skills
· Organized. Timeline, t-minus plans, understanding processes
· Data driven
