Full time/Direct Hire/Exempt/with benefits
Job Description:
• Achieves the sales quota which is discussed and agreed between the incumbent and management.
• Travels through assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers, and to attend trade shows for
business opportunities.
• Develops new businesses through introduction of the company and product positioning.
• Researches market conditions and conducts feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products or services.
• Gathers, analyzes, and compares competitor data and pricing to that of the Company for benchmarking
purposes in evaluating market position.
• Provides input to management on new product or service features to be developed to meet current and future customer needs in the U.S.
• Achieves the sales quota which is discussed and agreed between the incumbent and management.
• Informs customers of prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by
customers.
• Understands every account/customer special requirements, and ensures such items are recorded and properly outlined for each sales order.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Business Administration or equivalent from four-year college or university; or four to ten years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7-10 years of similar experience.
• Japanese and English bilingual required (read, write, speak at fluent level)
• Flexible working hours (evening meetings with Japan HQ/early morning with Europe)
• Domestic and International travel (25% - 35%) - urgent travel sometimes necessary
