Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Service and Warranty Administrator to join our team. This role combines administrative expertise with customer service skills to manage warranty claims and support the Service Department. You will process warranty documentation, reconcile claims, and act as a Service Advisor by assisting customers with their service needs and preparing accurate repair orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Warranty Administration:
Process and submit warranty claims promptly and accurately.
Maintain proper documentation and compliance with warranty requirements.
Reconcile warranty receivables and payments; authorize claims as needed.
Track and manage warranty parts and maintain service records.
Stay informed on factory recalls, bulletins, and warranty updates.
Train advisors and technicians on warranty coverage and procedures.
Service Advisory Support:
Greet customers professionally and assist with service inquiries.
Prepare repair orders, cost estimates, and obtain necessary authorizations.
Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions.
Schedule service appointments and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Ensure timely updates on repair progress and handle customer concerns.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–4 years of experience in warranty administration, service advising, or related roles.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn new software.
Valid driver’s license and insurability.
