Job Title: CT Tech

Job Summary:
\n The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position requires ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to perform high-quality scans.

Required Qualifications:
\n  

\n

\n
• Demonstrates understanding of sectional anatomy, anatomic terminology, and positioning competency.
\n
• Proficiency in operating CT equipment with a strong understanding of CT imaging techniques and protocols.
\n
• Knowledge and understanding of protocols relating to contrast administration, including contrast injector operation as applicable.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic imaging, including the ability to view, transfer, and manipulate images.
\n
• Ability to recognize emergent patient situations and respond appropriately.
\n
• Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
\n
• Effective interaction and communication with other caregivers and patients.
\n
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
\n
• Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff.
\n

Preferred Qualifications:
\n  

\n

\n
• One (1) – Two (2) years of CT experience.
\n
• One (1) – Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting.
\n

\n

Required Certifications & Licensure:
\n  

\n

\n
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
\n
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R).
\n
• Licensure in the state of practice as applicable.
\n

\n

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:
\n  

\n

\n
• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT).
\n
• Fluoroscopy certification for caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado.
\n
