Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level II NICU position in Brighton, CO, requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

  • Level II NICU at a hospital setting in Brighton, CO
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (12-hour shifts)
  • \n
  • 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
  • \n
  • Epic EMR used for charting
  • \n
  • May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
  • \n
  • May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active CO RN license or compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required
  • \n
  • Required certifications (must be AHA and valid through assignment start): BLS, and NRP, ACLS, or PALS as appropriate for the unit
  • \n
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
  • \n
  • DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n

  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for neonatal patients
  • \n
  • Performs health teaching, counseling, and delegated medical functions
  • \n
  • Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, referring patients as needed
  • \n
  • Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
  • \n
  • Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
  • \n
  • 11-week contract
