American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of med/surg experience and an active AL or compact RN license.

• Med-Surg unit within a hospital setting
\n
• 18-bed unit with adult and geriatric patient population
\n
• Patient ratio of 1:6
\n
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n
• Rotating weekend requirement (every other weekend)
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• Floating required
\n
• Uses Meditech EHR
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license (AL state or compact) currently in hand
\n
• BLS certification required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
\n
• AHA certifications required
\n
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
\n
• Active Nursys/licensure status required at time of consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

• Team-oriented environment seeking a candidate willing to take ownership of the role
\n
• Royal blue scrub color required
\n
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
\n
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months

• Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
