Surgical Technician – CVOR 

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hrs/weeks 2x12s + 2x8s; days

 

Call Requirements:

• Weeknight call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend day/night call required

Preferred Experience:

• Strong CVOR/open heart experience required
• CABG procedures
• Aortic & mitral valve surgeries
• Aortic aneurysm repair
• Endovascular cases
• CPB cannulation
• Cardioplegia
• Pacers/defibs
• IABP, LVAD & Impella insertion
• Complex vascular cases (endo & open)

Common Procedures:

• Coronary artery bypass surgery
• Valve replacements
• Heart transplants
• Aortic artery repairs
• Vascular bypass
• Endarterectomies
• Endovascular cardiac surgeries
