American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring L&D and mother/baby experience and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details\n- \n
- Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting \n
- Unit features 16 LDRP rooms, a C-section Suite and PACU, and a 4-bed Special Care Nursery \n
- Patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns, including infants who may experience withdrawal symptoms and late preterm infants \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00 \n
- Closed specialty unit — travelers are not expected to float outside of the Family Center \n
- Epic EMR in use \n

- Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand \n
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP \n
- L&D and mother/baby nursing experience required \n
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration \n
- \n
- Unit is actively implementing evidence-based best practices and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the State of NC and other hospitals nationwide \n
- Support staff includes a preadmit nurse, discharge planner/case manager, maternity navigator, unit educator, and lactation consultant \n
- Two professional references required for consideration \n
