Job Summary
Titan Robotics is seeking a hands-on Electrical Robotics Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the assembly, integration, and maintenance of robotic systems by building high-quality electrical components including wiring, cable harnesses, control panels, and sensor interfaces. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with electrical assembly in a production or R&D environment, and comfortable troubleshooting issues on complex electromechanical systems. The candidate must provide regular communication to the engineering team on technical issues. Mechanical assembly experience is also a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Terminate wires and connectors (crimping, pinning, ferrules, etc.).
- Build and route cable harnesses to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and cable drawings.
- Perform high-quality through-hole and cup terminal soldering.
- Build and wire electrical control panels and junction boxes.
- Mount components, label wiring, and ensure correct routing.
- Verify assemblies for safety, functionality, and compliance.
- Assist with robotic system wiring during build and integration.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, cable testers, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot. electrical issues such as shorts, intermittent faults, and sensor failures.
- Perform electrical wiring modifications to robotic equipment.
- Provide feedback to engineering to improve designs and assembly processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a tidy, organized workspace.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Estimated yearly travel 25% or less.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience manufacturing wire harnesses and cables.
- Knowledge of various wire harness tools.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be able to work on a ladder.
- Must be able to obtain airport security clearances.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in robotics, automation, or custom machine build environments.
· Experience working with PLCs, motor controllers, sensors, and low-voltage control systems.
· Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and basic mechanical issues.
· Hands-on mechanical assembly experience, including mounting components, working with fasteners, and assembling mechanical sub-systems.
