Job Description
As our Gastroenterologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Durango, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive health conditions and disorders, making a significant impact on the health and well-being of patients throughout the community.
Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting comprehensive evaluations, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families within CommonSpirit Health.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Gastroenterologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
We are offering a competative base of $700,000, a generous CME allowance, and recruiting incentives, which include a sign-on bonus, student loan assistance,and relocation assistance for new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
- Be board certified/ board eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
- Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
- Doctorate MD or DO required
- Active or eligible unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado
