American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for a general ultrasound position requiring 4+ years of experience, active OBMI licensure, and ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.
Details- Hospital-based general ultrasound unit
- Must be able to perform OB ultrasound in addition to general sonography
- Variable swing/graveyard shift times ranging from 12:00 PM to 5:30 AM
- 4x10 hour shifts
- May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates — no radius restriction applies
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Prior travel experience required
- ARDMS registration in both Abdomen and OB/GYN required
- Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license required (permanent or temporary); no pending licenses accepted — license required if applicable
- BLS certification from the AHA required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Ability to operate advanced ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors, and related devices
- Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- COVID vaccination required; no exemptions
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot be modified after submission — additional RTO requests may result in cancellation
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
