Title: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills:

Perform adult echocardiography, including 2-D echo, M-mode, color Doppler, and imaging with contrast agents.

Conduct stress echocardiography (treadmill and pharmacologic) and bubble studies.
\t \t - \t
Make accurate cardiac measurements according to American Society of Echocardiography guidelines.
\t \t - \t
Build preliminary echo reports in the EMR for physician interpretation.
\t \t - \t
Float between units as needed.
\t
Required Skills and Certifications:

ARDMS, RDCS, or AE certification (preferred).
\t \t - \t
Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
\t \t - \t
Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
\t \t - \t
Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Skills:

Experience performing advanced calculations such as LV strain, LV volume, Simpson's Rule, and diastology.

Familiarity with Philips imaging equipment.
\t
Work Environment:

Short-term acute care hospital.

1:1 patient ratio for echo procedures.

Non-blocked schedule; no weekend or on-call requirement.
