About this job
We are looking for a uniquely qualified person with great common sense who exudes warmth and has a positive personality.. You should have at least 3 years of experience as a restaurant manager/assistant manager in a high-volume restaurant. Serving experience is a plus. Familiarity with online employee scheduling, POS knowledge, basic food knowledge and good computer skills are required. 2 References are required!
Schedule: Flexible, 30 hours per week, could turn into full time at a later date
We need the kind of leader who sets a great example and is a hard worker.
You must be organized, detail oriented, and have the ability to solve problems quickly and calmly.
You would be trained to execute all positions, including expo, running, taking phone orders, hosting etc.
Basic Job Duties (this is an overview)
• Assist with employee scheduling for approximately 35 employees
• Supervise and make sure FOH staff is properly trained before working their first shift.
• Collaborating and coordinating with other managers
• Comps/Voids
• Booking private events and running them within our parameters
• Handling issues with customers
• Communicate with owners and staff respectfully
• Placing vendor orders for FOH
• PAY: Hourly. Flexible except for Fridays and Saturdays
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years previous experience as a restaurant manager.
• You will need to help maintain a respectful and pleasant work environment
• Comfortable with computers
• Able to be calm and focused in emergency situations
• Must be physically strong and healthy, able to lift 50 pounds easily.
• Must be mentally strong and able to deal well or even thrive on stress.
• Financial knowledge is not necessary. Most financials are done by the owners, but basic arithmetic is required

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years previous experience as a restaurant manager or assistant manager.
- Great communication skills, both in person and on the phone
- Able to get along well with co workers, create a respectful and pleasant work environment
- Comfortable with computers and POS systems
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment efficiently
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Must be physically strong, able to lift 50 pounds easily.
- Must be mentally strong and able to deal well or even thrive on stress.
- Enjoys developing good customer relationships
- MUST include 2 references from people you have worked with in restaurants

Since 1995 we have occupied 3 different spaces in the same shopping center, each one larger. Our current space has 120 seats inside plus a 65 seat outdoor enclosed and heated deck which is open around 75% of the year. We have 25 foot ceilings, windows galore and a beautiful, unique and timeless decor that feels light and open.
