CDL A or B Local Propane Delivery Drivers- Marshville, NC - Full-time

Blossman Gas is hiring CDL A or B (preferred) local propane delivery drivers in Marshville, NC. The hazmat and tanker endorsements are needed but can be obtained.

 Compensation

• Average Weekly pay: hourly plus overtime during peak demand periods
  • Hourly Rate: $25 (with Hazmat), depending on experience
• Bonuses:

  •  All CDL Drivers and Technicians participate in a company-paid 2 week Blossman Basics class in Ocean Springs, MS.  This course provides our Gas Sales/Route Drivers with an overview of safety, propane delivery, and the on-site work at propane storage tanks including working with handheld computers.

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Route: Local, within 50-100 miles of Marshville, NC
  • Delivering propane to commercial & residential customers.  The position requires strong customer service skills
• Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm with some on-call rotation work for weekend coverage

• Bulk Truck
• Inward/outward facing cameras for driver safety
• A key component to this position is physical activity outside the cab while pulling a gas connection hose from the delivery truck to a gas storage tank.  Ideal candidates must be physically capable of doing the daily work and enjoy a high volume of stops
• Automatic transmissions

 Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL B License
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No experience required, 2 years CDL driving experience preferred
• Hazmat/Tanker Endorsement required within 90 days of hire date
