Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hours may change based on the needs of the school)

Pay: $18–$19 per hour

✨ Purpose
As part of our classroom team, you will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.

📚 Education & Experience Requirements
•     Minimum 1 year of experience in a childcare center
•     At least 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education or related fields

🛡️ Pre-Employment Requirements
All candidates must successfully complete:
•     Fingerprint background check
•     Drug test
•     TB test
•     Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) background check
•     Hepatitis A vaccination (Must provide proof)
•     Sex Offender Registry check
•     CPR certification (Can be obtained after offered permanent employment)

🧸 Key Duties & Expectations
•     Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum and children’s individual goals
•     Maintain classroom schedules, lesson plans, and monthly calendars
•     Observe and assess children; contribute to portfolios and MO Accreditation documentation
•     Assist with meal/snack distribution and cleanup
•     Rotate toys, sensory activities, art supplies, and props to support planned lessons
•     Ensure safety indoors and outdoors; maintain emergency supplies and classroom information
•     Create a welcoming environment for children and families
•     Maintain compliance with licensing and accreditation standards
•     Update bulletin boards and rotate classroom artwork
•     Post menus, mission statements, calendars, and required documents clearly
•     Communicate with families daily and during formal meetings (e.g., parent-teacher conferences)
•     Follow policies outlined in Employee Handbook, Staff Policy Manual, and Parent Handbook
•     Maintain pediatric first aid, CPR, and other required certifications
•     Safely lift children up to 30 pounds multiple times per day
•     Engage with children at their level (floor play, crouching, playground supervision)
•     Complete paperwork and record-keeping on time
•     Support family-friendly activities and events at the Center
