As a Full-Time Estimator at Mid-City Lumber LTD, your day-to-day expectations will involve analyzing project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates. You will conduct site visits to assess materials and labor requirements, ensuring all details are accounted for. Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with project managers and subcontractors to clarify project scopes and resolve any discrepancies. Regularly, you'll update estimates based on changes in project specifications or timelines. Utilizing estimating software, you will compile and present your findings, ensuring transparency and accuracy in each estimate.

You will also contribute to team meetings, sharing insights and innovative ideas to improve our processes and maintain a focus on safety and excellence.
