Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Live Chat Agent to join our remote support team. In this role, you will handle inbound customer inquiries through live chat, provide accurate information, assist with problem-solving, and ensure a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is fast, professional, and able to communicate clearly in writing while multitasking efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate information about products, services, policies, or troubleshooting steps

  • Assist customers with order issues, account questions, or general support needs

  • Resolve complaints and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication

  • Document interactions and update customer records when necessary

  • Meet performance metrics including response time, accuracy, and customer satisfaction

  • Learn and follow company guidelines, scripts, and communication standards

  • Multitask across chat windows and systems while maintaining accuracy

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve the customer experience

Required Skills
  • Excellent written communication and grammar

  • Strong typing speed (45+ WPM preferred)

  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Customer service mindset with patience and professionalism

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Comfortable using chat software, CRM systems, and online tools

  • Reliable internet connection and functioning computer

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service or live chat experience

  • Experience using CRM platforms or help desk software

  • Ability to handle high-volume chat environments

  • Strong understanding of customer service best practices
