Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for an opportunity in the Atlanta, GA area.

Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:45  Pay range $20 -$21/hour

We are looking for someone with a great work ethic and longevity in work history. EPIC is a MUST. Skills needed are phone triage, ordering lab work, chart in EPIC, vitals, BP, weight, patient education, explaining the next step to the patient, and scheduling the next appointment.
NO injections, NO phlebotomy, very little clinical work.    

Additional duties include:

• Rooming patients
• Perform urinalysis for new patients
• Front desk check-in, check-out, and scheduling
• Verify insurance eligibility
• Collect balance & copay
• Obtain previous medical records for patients as well as providing medical records for continuation of care to other practices. 
• Recorded patient vital signs 
• Escort patients to exam rooms 
• Answered a high volume of phone calls 
• Verified and scheduled patient appointments
