Job Summary

Crenshaw Janitorial, LLC is hiring Environmental Services (EVS) professionals to support overnight and early morning cleaning operations at Live! Casino in Petersburg, VA. This is a high-traffic, guest-facing environment requiring attention to detail, professionalism, and adherence to safety and security standards.

Position Responsibilities

EVS Attendant

• Clean and sanitize casino floors, restrooms, entrances, offices, and common areas

• Disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, railings, counters, and fixtures

• Empty trash and replace liners

• Restock paper products and hand soap

• Perform routine spot cleaning as needed

Steward

• Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house and service areas

• Support trash removal and compactor runs

• Clean utility areas and janitorial closets

• Assist EVS staff with supply restocking and special cleaning requests

• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies

EVS Deep Cleaner

• Perform scheduled deep cleaning assignments

• Detail restrooms, walls, vents, baseboards, and high-traffic areas

• Shampoo carpets and perform detailed surface cleaning

• Safely operate specialized cleaning tools and chemicals

• Follow detailed cleaning plans and supervisor instructions

Supervisor

• Oversee nightly EVS operations and staffing

• Ensure cleaning standards and schedules are met

• Train team members and conduct quality inspections

• Address issues and communicate with site leadership

• Complete reports and documentation as required

Available Schedules

Workdays (must be available for one):

• Monday – Thursday

• Friday – Sunday

Shift Times:

• 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Qualifications

*** MUST comply with all casino safety and security policies and be able to pass a background check. ***

• Reliable and punctual attendance

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks (reasonable accommodations available)

• Janitorial, EVS, hospitality, or floor care experience preferred but not required

Documents Required (Pre-Employment)

• Knowingly failing to comply with VAq gaming regulations and laws,

• Having a gaming related permit denied, suspended, or revoked in any state.

• Lacking the qualification necessary to perform the duties associated with the permit.

• Convictions for crimes involving:

  • Illegal wagering

  • Fraudulent use of gaming credentials

  • Unlawful transmission or information

  • Toutin

  • Bribery

  • Embezzlement

  • Drug distribution or possession (excluding misdemeanor marijuanna possession)

  • Any other crime deemed harmful to the integrity of the casino gaming.
