Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Goldsboro, NC, requiring 2+ years of Med/Surg Tele experience and a valid NC or compact RN license.

Details\n

\n
• 48-bed adult Med/Surg Telemetry unit on a hospital's 6th floor
\n
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6 with approximately 3–4 admissions per day
\n
• Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
\n
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
\n
• Every other holiday (EOH) required
\n
• May be placed on standby if census drops
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active NC or compact RN license required
\n
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
\n
• Current NIHSS certification required
\n
• CPI-A certification required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
\n
• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN or MSN preferred
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
