Night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Oncology and Med Surg to join our team. The role involves providing patient care in a unit that specializes in Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine. The nurse will care for adult patients with various conditions including cancer diagnoses, ESRD, diabetes, and more.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in the oncology and med-surg unit.
\n
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
\n
• Utilize specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and chest tubes.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
\n
• Document patient care in EMR system (EPIC) accurately and in a timely manner.
\n
• Float to other units as required based on patient care needs.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Active NY RN license and all RN licenses must be verified with NURSYS report.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and Oncology nursing.
\n
• Current AHA BLS, NIHSS, and Chemotherapy Certification are required.
\n
• Valid driver’s license with an address matching demographics.
\n
• Travel experience is required, with a preference for locals (less than 75 miles).
\n
