Floating Maintenance Technician (Madera and Firebaugh)

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician in Madera and Firebaugh, CA. Come join a dynamic property management team!

**This position does require valid driver's license and must be able to travel to Madera and Firebaugh. Must have at least 2+ years of current and proven apartment maintenance experience with proven experience in the field. Again, must have a valid CA driver's license to be considered**

Qualifications / Skills for Maintenance Technician:

• Computer literate (outlook/property management software)
• Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff

• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry)

Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician:

• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Perform preventative maintenance duties
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal
• Follow policies and procedures
• Grounds

Requirements

Job Requirements for Floating Maintenance Technician:

• Minimum of 2+ years of current and proven experience in multi-family apartment maintenance
• Able to work independently and follow directions
• Basic understanding of light maintenance and the desire to develop those skills
• Excellent customer service
• Ability to work well as a team
• Able to drive to Madera and Firebaugh
• Must have valid CA driver's license
• Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
