The Rotational Technology Intern is responsible for supporting multiple areas within Enterprise Technology Services, including Data & Business Intelligence, Helpdesk/Infrastructure, and Application Development. This internship is designed to provide broad exposure to technology operations, analytics, and software development while allowing the intern to gain hands-on experience, learn best practices, and develop foundational technical skills.
The Intern will rotate through assigned teams and will be paired with experienced associates for mentorship, support, and day-to-day direction. This role will work between 30 to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:

Works alongside ETS Associates to learn best practices and methodologies used at True Homes

Assists the Data & BI team with documentation, data validation, and basic reporting tasks

Supports business intelligence efforts by assisting with SQL queries, data analysis, and Power BI reports

Helps validate data accuracy and supports reporting requests for internal stakeholders
-
Assists the Helpdesk and Infrastructure team with setting up and preparing computers and peripherals

Supports hardware and software updates, inventory assessments, and basic troubleshooting

Assists with documentation of processes, procedures, and technology standards

Learns and supports tier 1 helpdesk ticket resolution under supervision

Works with the Application Development team to gain exposure to enterprise applications and systems

Assists with testing, debugging, and documenting application features and enhancements

Supports basic front-end or back-end development tasks under guidance, as appropriate

Learns version control, development workflows, and secure coding fundamentals

Performs other duties as needed or required
Results/Accountability:
-
Currently enrolled in good standing at a college or university and has completed Freshman year of college
-
Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred

Actively engaged in a student organization and/or club preferred, specifically in a leadership role
-
Basic knowledge of SQL, data concepts, or reporting tools preferred

Introductory experience with programming languages, scripting, or application development preferred

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general computer hardware

Completes assigned tasks accurately and on time with appropriate supervision
