Job Title:                     Lead Supervisor, Dining

Reports To:                     Director of Food and Beverage

FLSA Status:                 Non-Exempt, $20 to $22 per hour

Preferred Schedule:     Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 12pm – 8 pm

Summary

Glenmeadow seeks a lead supervisor to oversee our daily dining operations. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service, efficient staffing, and a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This hands-on leadership role combines staff supervision, service oversight, and operational coordination to support a high-quality hospitality experience. The ideal candidate must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Supervise, schedule, and train servers to ensure consistent, professional service.

    Oversee daily operations, maintaining high standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and alcohol service regulations.

    Support community events and special functions in partnership with the Food & Beverage team and other Glenmeadow departments.

    Partner with Assistant Director to create Standard Operating Procedures for the Food & Beverage Department .  

    Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and cost control.

    Manage resident and guest inquiries with professionalism and care.

    Support dining leadership team with financial planning for department.

    Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive workplace culture.

    All duties as assigned by dining department.

Experience and Education

    Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality, dining, or beverage service (or equivalent).

    TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred.

    Hands-on bartending experience preferred.


This position requires the handling and service of alcohol; therefore, candidates must be at least 21 years of age and successfully complete a background screening.
