Job SummaryUnder the direction of the assigned administrator and under the general supervision of teacher and/or other certificated employee, provides instructional/behavioral support to students in accomplishing learning objectives. Works with students of all ages with severe behavioral, physical, language, or learning handicaps. Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proof of AA or BA Degree from a regionally accredited college, 48 Semester units
OR Certificate showing successful completion of a basic Paraprofessional proficiency test.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent
AND Forty-eight (48) semester units or Associate Degree or higher or pass proficiency requirements established by the District.

Salary InfoRange 13, ($20.35 - $28.34 per hour). Inside candidates who are promoted to a higher range may receive a 2 1/2% to 5% increase in their current hourly rate of pay.
Comments and Other InformationIf selected for this position, you will be required to provide proof of completion of high school or equivalent program.
Number of openings at the time of posting: One (1) or more.
Available work shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Specially Funded Program: This position is funded by a federal or state grant with a specific start and end date. The funding period may include multiple budget periods but does not guarantee funding beyond the current year.
