MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Prior barista, café, or food service experience preferred.
- Hospitality or customer service experience a plus.
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and beverage recipes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.
- Take guest orders, process payments, and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, barista station, and equipment.
- Restock ingredients, cups, utensils, pastries, and merchandise.
- Follow standard recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency.
- Engage warmly with guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
