The Warehouse Coordinator – Put Away is responsible for accurately locating verifying, and storing incoming materials and components in designated warehouse locations. This role ensures efficient put away processes, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports overall warehouse organization to facilitate timely production and shipping operations.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITY
• Take incoming materials, components, and machine kits from Receiving.
• Verify quantities and quality of received items against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Accurately put away materials in assigned warehouse locations using ERP system (EPICOR).
• Ensure all items are stored safely and in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain neat and orderly appearance of racking and dock areas.
• Update inventory records and location data in ERP system.
• Run shortage and location reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, order picker, and other material handling equipment.
• Support 5S warehouse organization and good housekeeping practices.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Backup for Shipping and Receiving Technicians as needed.
• Perform work with awareness of and adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with production and materials teams to ensure timely availability of components.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year experience in warehousing, stockroom, shipping and/or receiving preferred• Experience with put away processes and inventory management preferred
• Experience working in a production environment a plus
• Working knowledge of material handling equipment
• Ability to read and understand English; blueprint reading a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day. The employee is frequently required to grasp, handle and feel objects, control and manage tools, and use hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but at times loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
