Education:
Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Licensure/Certification:
Preferred: Certification of relational databases
Experience:
Required: Three (3) years of relational database experience or a bachelor’s degree in computer science in lieu of experience
Preferred: Experience within a major not-for-profit health care institution or university, fundraising CRMs and Tableau; SQL experience

Ability to learn new or latest versions of software and competently train other staff to efficiently use it through personal and group training sessions, Competent in interpreting, correlating, and communicating biographical, corporate, and Foundation information related to organizational needs, Excellent team environment skills with proven ability to prioritize work and responsibilities, Exceptional ability to problem solve and think critically to create complex algorithms for data analyses/extraction, Proficient in keyboarding/typing skills, Proficient knowledge in fundraising CRMs and possess complex query generation skills, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc), Self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented and able to effectively manage multiple tasks, Superior interpersonal skills (written, oral and telephone skills) in dealing with public, executive and professional staff, co-workers and volunteersEssential Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
2. Provides and follows customer service standards of excellence.
3. Manages the day-to-day maintenance and integrity of the fundraising CRM, including data entry, reporting applications, data restoration and performance optimization.
4. Assists in troubleshooting database problems and suggests corrective action as required from EMC Information Systems as they relate to the integrity of the EMC Foundation databases.
5. Successfully delivers multiple large projects concurrently and/or in overlapping timelines.
6. Maintains manuals and other resources.
7. Serves as database trainer for staff.
8. Maintains and expands expertise through self-directed reading and studying, through formal training opportunities, and through vendor-supplied information resources.
9. Produces intricate, sequentially tiered solicitation mailings and reports for the annual appeal.
10. Performs donor financial and/or giving history data analysis using complex queries.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
