Beverage Cart

Description

Scope and Purpose:
This position provides exceptional food and beverage service to golfing guests during their golfing visit.

Essential Functions:

• Providing exceptional service to golfing guests.
• Daily accounting for inventory, loading and unloading of product into and out of beverage cart and beverage storage.
• Financially accountable for handling the cash bank provided and for balancing the cash bank with sales.
• Preparing food for guests at the Halfway House concession stand.
• Maintaining cleanliness of beverage cart, and refueling beverage cart.
• Maintaining cleanliness of other areas related to these job functions.
• Attend monthly and weekly staff meetings (including all safety meetings).

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to prepare food according to guest orders
• Must be able to make drinks / cocktails to order
• Must demonstrate exceptional guest service skills
• Must be able to perform professionally in a high volume, high profile, demanding environment.

Physical Requirements:

Constant driving, reaching, grasping, seeing, hearing, talking, smelling. Frequent standing, sitting, walking. Occasional pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

Work environment is typical of a golf cart on an open golf course. The temperature and weather conditions of the work area are affected by outside conditions. Inventory storage areas may be dusty.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent certificate
• Previous guest service experience in a high profile environment
• Valid Drivers License
• Valid AZ Food Handlers Card and AZ Liquor Cert
• All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance suitable for public golf courses (specific standards available).
• Minimum 21 years of age 

Compensation: Tipped position ($11.35 per hour and tips) - Current minimum wage is $14.35 per hour
