Staff Nurse - Full-time

POSITION TITLE:    Staff Nurse (LPN or RN)- Float Nurse Elementary

REPORTS TO:         Building Principal and Assistant Superintendent 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Monday- Friday, full-time (7.5 hours, plus 30-minute unpaid lunch)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid PA RN or LPN license 

• Experience with school aged children preferred 

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.

• Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Daily nursing duties including routine health assessments
• dispensing medications, providing necessary health care/first aid, etc.
• Assisting on field trips, across the district, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
• PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s)
