Overview:
The Sales and Conference Planning Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the execution of the administrative processes and procedures for the Sales, Conference Planning, and General Manager. This includes:
- Executing the functions of the departments in order to allow managers maximum time for soliciting, selling, and planning business for the hotel.
- Efficiently performing all assigned sales duties including processing incoming leads and executing sales/conference planning reporting requirements.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales and conference planning staff in all related duties for groups.
- Process all incoming business leads.
- Coordinate all internal events.
- Maintain files and sales databases as per company standards.
- Follow-up on all special projects and assignments given by management.
- Generate marketing materials, i.e. social media posts and print/digital publications, etc.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Responsibilities are subject to change.
- General Office duties to include; making files, copying, filing, ordering, and inventorying office supplies
Education and Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Previous experience providing executive-level administrative support
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Preferred Skills and/or Education:
- Experience in a hotel or related industry preferred
The anticipated pay range for this role is between $20 and $24 per hour. Base pay will depend on skills, qualifications and experience. Hotel experience required.
