Health Unit Coordinator | Pediatric Unit - Part-time

As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Ped's, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care. 

• Schedule
  • Part-time | 16 hours every two weeks | Onsite
  • 8-hour shifts | variable weekdays | 9am-5:30pm 
  • Every 3rd weekend (Fri-Sun) | rotating holidays 
• Pay and Benefits
  • Starting pay begins at $17.00 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range:  $17.00-$25.54
• Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required.
  • One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
