Responsibilities:
- Organizing and cleaning guest rooms and public areas
- General cleaning of guest rooms
- Make up guest beds
- Take all linens and towels to be cleaned
- Keep floors and carpets clean throughout the lodge and guest rooms
- Maintain stock levels for towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so health standards are met
- Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampoos
- Empty wastebaskets, empty ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas
- Work evenings, holidays, and weekends on a rotating basis
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good organizational and verbal skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
- Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues
- Able to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor operation areas, and write and read member communications
- Must be able to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
- Work indoors and/or outdoors
- Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, and harmful chemicals and/or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed
- Other related duties
Pay and Benefits:
$19.00/hour to $22.00/hour, depending on education and experience.
