Bus Monitor - Part-time

The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking Bus Monitors to assist in making sure all students are transported to and from school safely. This position is part-time with morning and afternoon bus runs.

Responsibilities:

• Dependable and timely arrival each day.
• Accurate collection of attendance data and completion of behavior reports at the end of each route.   
• Ability to remain calm and support students in any situation including emergency situations.
• Maintain confidentiality with respect to your role, the families of students, and other information that may be shared around the school building.
• Ability to enforce the established bus rules.
• Ability to work well with children of all ages.
• Other duties may be assigned by the Transportation Coordinator or Building Principals
• Clear and effective communication.
