AXIS International Academy is currently accepting applications for Elementary Teachers that may become available for the 2026 - 2027 school year.  

Employment Status: Full Time Exempt 

Supervisor: Leadership staff member, AXIS International Academy Fort Collins 

Compensation: $19-22 per hour. Position includes retirement benefits through Colorado Public Employee Retirement Association (copera.org) as well as option for health benefits.

Position Description: 

AXIS is seeking a hard-working, flexible person to support the classroom teachers with implementing instruction and reinforcing learning skills in one-one, small, or large groups, and with daily classroom tasks such as supervision, copies, prepping classroom materials, etc. 

Position Responsibilities:  

• Assist the classroom teacher with implementation of instructional plans  
• Assist the classroom teacher with small group or one-one student support  
• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing classroom materials, administering tests, grading, taking attendance, completing paperwork, maintaining files, and/or documenting student progress  
• Provide conditions for a positive and caring learning environment  
• Follow our behavior protocols and use positive reinforcement to address issues  
• Attend work and arrive in a timely manner  
• Attend appropriate in-services, building meetings, training, and/or school functions  
• Perform any additional duties as assigned, which are consistent with the effective and orderly operation of this position, and the school-wide educational goals 

Requirements

Required Qualifications: 

• Associates or equivalent; Bachelors preferred 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working with students in a school setting 
• Bilingual - English and one of our Partner Languages (French, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese)
