Description
Take Ten Tire & Service is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Heavy Duty Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients requiring heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and professional service experience. Essential Functions
- Promptly meet and greet every service customer in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Listen to customers' reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department.
- Provide logical diagnostic services or repairs to address customers' concerns.
- Provide accurate estimates for all recommended services or repairs.
- Maintain communication with the technicians and shop foreman regarding job status changes.
- Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings with courtesy and tact, without further aggravating the situation.
- Make policy adjustments within the guidelines and budgets established by management.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, and always satisfy the caller's inquiry.
- Write and complete work orders, explain the work to the customer, and collect payments.
- Strive to ensure that every customer is delighted with the shop's service.
- Provide superior customer service at all times.
- Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training offered by the Company.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
- Adhere to company policies and legal regulations at all times while conducting business.

Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a Heavy Duty mechanic or related experience
- HD diagnostics
- Mechanical knowledge
- Vehicle maintenance
- Service technician experience
- Customer service skills
- Sales experience
- Service writing capabilities
- Knowledge of HD services
- Familiarity with transmissions, oil changes, air brake systems, alignment, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and brake repair.
