Midland Care's Hospice House is a compassionate and supportive environment providing end-of-life care to individuals and their families. Our dedicated team offers physical, emotional, and spiritual support with dignity and respect.

We are seeking a caring and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our hospice overnight team. The HHA will provide hands-on personal care to terminally ill patients under the supervision of a nurse, ensuring comfort and quality of life

Employment Type: Full Time | 3/12-hour shifts 7pm - 7am
Pay Rate: $16.80+/hour AND 5% shift differential (pay is based on qualifications and experience)
Location: Topeka, KS
Sign-on Bonus of $1500 for Full Time
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and document patient condition and report changes to nursing staff
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain a clean and safe environment

Qualifications

Required: Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification. Must possess a valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position. Due to insurance company requirements, must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred: One year experience as a Home Health Aide preferred.
