We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician for a local client and help keep operations running safely and efficiently. This role is essential to ensuring that their equipment, machinery, and facilities remain in peak condition, so productions stays on track and every product meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, conveyors, refrigeration units, packaging machines, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
- Inspect and maintain tools, work areas, and safety systems to ensure compliance with OSHA and good safety regulations.
- Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to identify maintenance needs and implement timely solutions.
- Assist in installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery or upgrades.
- Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately and on schedule.
- Support plant sanitation and safety programs, following all GMP and HACCP guidelines.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a industrial, food processing, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
