Business Banking Associate - Full-time

We're hiring a Full Time Business Banking Associate at our International Falls, Minnesota Border Bank!

Business Banking Associates assist lenders with administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer experiences to our customers from the start to the finish of Commercial and Ag loans. Some of the other duties the Business Banking Associate will do include:

• Greet Customers as they enter the bank and direct them to the appropriate person, order supplies, assist with bank mail, and invoices.
• Gather and compile customer documentation needed for a new or existing loan.
• Assist lenders with loan closings.
• Maintain all original Promissory Notes on file and file mortgages with the applicable county.
• Answer routine customer questions on an on-going basis after loan closing. This will include calculating loan payoffs and processing loan payments and advances.
• Be familiar with business products and services that the bank offers, including Cash Management, and how the set-up process works. If needed, work with the customer, and gather necessary application or enrollment information from them and route it to the appropriate department within the bank.
• Proactively offer solutions and follow up with customers on requests for debit card orders, business check orders, transfer/sweep set up, direct deposit set-up and other banking needs.
• Assist the Market President, Branch Manager, and loan officers by preparing correspondence and performing other clerical duties.
• Assist bank branch in gathering information for audits.

Education and Requirements:

• Prefer three to five years of experience or training in a related position.
• Prefer a two-year college degree or completion of either a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or extensive in-house training program.
