RECEPTIONIST - Full-time

PAY :$16.50-$20.94

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: To provide a friendly point of contact and act as a focal point of communication between customers, sales associates, and other employees. Will be setting the tone for customers and employees for the store.

EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls, providing information and taking messages; greet visitors entering establishment with a smile, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations; provide information about establishment such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided; deliver mail to correct departments; arrange transportation service; track merchandise leaving the store; log sales associates in and out for daily shifts; log call customers for sales associates; acts as a role model of the store; professional in appearance, and maintain a constant positive attitude; keep store count for customers entering; perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working with customers; Demonstrates a constant positive customer service attitude; ability to handle pressure; knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally.
Work Environment: Indoor climate-controlled environment.
