Job Summary: Ensures the accurate handling, storage, and movement of materials, as well as the timely preparation and distribution of goods.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to all company policies, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production areas.
- Receive, inspect and accurately document incoming shipments and raw materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment that is compliant with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support operational goals and deadlines.
- Receive, count and verify against packing list of all products coming in, and enter into computerized inventory system, notify supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Report all inventory discrepancies and issues to supervisor.
- Perform all other duties as requested by management
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- HS diploma/GED
- Prior experience in material handling and/or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and inter-personal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Macola and/or other inventory system applications.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Forklift certification a plus
Working Conditions:
- Standing for 8 hour shifts
- Heavy lifting up to 60 pounds
Salary:
- Starting salary: $16.50/hr based on experience
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:00pm
