We provide a wide array of transportation products, including paratransit, fixed route, shuttle, charter services, and ADA eligibility assessments.
RydeTrans specializes in transporting people who depend on safe, comfortable, and reliable transportation to essential services like school, rehabilitation training, medical appointments, and work.
About the Position:
As a vital member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional transport of our clients. You'll play a key role in maintaining our commitment to excellent customer service and safety standards. This position requires a dedicated individual who is punctual, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Compensation: $20.50/Hour
- Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Job Responsibilities:
- Checks for start time (for the next day's work schedule) with dispatch daily.
- Performs pre/post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
- Completes assigned paperwork accurately and neatly and turns into dispatch daily.
- Performs work with quality, efficiency, and safety at all times.
- Ensures passengers wear seat belts.
- Report any unsafe dangerous requests from customers to senior management.
- Responsible for ensuring he/she never backs up the bus without a spotter helping to assist in the blind areas.
- Maintain excellent customer service with the customers, transportation, and different teams to establish solid relationships.
- Must be punctual at all times to pick up clients.
- Must work cooperatively with members of the crew.
- Must be courteous, helpful, and professional to all existing and potential customers.
- Promote RydeTrans Mission and Vision Statements.
- Continuously promotes compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Certifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Class C Commercial Driver's License
- Held a regular driver's license for 3 years
- Have a safe driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Customer service oriented
Experience & Skills Required:
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic mathematical procedures.
- Ability to work under stress and meet strict timelines.
- The ability to work early morning hours.
- Must be able to work without direct supervision
- Must read and understand street signs, route sheets and maps.
- Able to work shift hours and days assigned.
