Reports To:             Food Service Director

SUMMARY:  Works under the supervision of the Food Services Director to provide meal services to students and staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist in the preparation of food according to the assigned menu.
2. Assist in the portioning and packaging meals for transport to the Oracle Ridge School.
3. Use safe food handling techniques.
4. Pay attention to proper food temperatures.
5. Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety in the kitchen.
6. Follow established cleaning schedule.
7. Use kitchen equipment in a safe, proper and efficient manner.
8. Assist in serving meals, paying close attention to portion control.
9. Assist in the proper storage or disposal of leftover food.
10. Observe the stock rotation policy.
11. Record commodity usage.
12. Report any accident/injury or problem with equipment to the Food Services Director immediately.
13. Attend and participate in inservice programs and additional training as implemented by the Food Service Director.
14. Safely push and or pull up to 50 pounds.
15. Demonstrate satisfactory work habits and attitudes.
16. Follow district policies and procedures as adopted by the Governing Board.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.

SCOPE AND SALARY:    

195 day position as an at-will employee based on the support staff salary schedule, with holidays and benefits according to district policy.

EVALUATION: 

 Designated administrator with assistance of the Food Services Director.
