Position Overview
We're immediately hiring experienced Assembler Level I or II candidates to become members of our dynamic Production department. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in delivering quality, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Assemble mechanical and electronic components of Aqualab instrumentation according to work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Perform basic wiring and soldering as required.
- Conduct visual inspections and functional checks to ensure quality and accuracy of assembly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
- Record production data, test results, and quality checks in designated areas.
- Identify and report defective parts, equipment issues, or deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and lead/manager to meet production goals.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
What You'll Need:
- Proven assembly proficiency (validated through a practical assessment during the interview).
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds with reasonable accommodations.
- A professional attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
- Positive, can-do spirit that contributes to a great team atmosphere.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check within one week of receiving an offer.
- Must reside within a commutable distance to Pullman, WA, and be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience:
- Mechanical assembly and soldering.
- At least one year of production, assembly, or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
