American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active ACLS and Epic proficiency.
Details- Work in a 10-bed Medical ICU (MICU) at a 426-bed short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Yale New Haven Health System
- Level II Trauma Center setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required as needed
- Charting is performed in Epic
- Free parking available on-site
- Active CT or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates (local candidates not eligible for this position)
- Must not have any prior disciplinary actions on nursing license
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
- Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required; religious or medical exemptions may be considered
- 13-week contract
- Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be auto-approved by the facility
- Travelers may be expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
