Job Description

Machinist – 1st Shift | $28–$30/hr

People Plus is partnering with a local manufacturer to hire an experienced Machinist for a 1st shift, Monday–Friday opportunity. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can set up and operate machine tools to produce high-precision parts and maintain industrial equipment.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay:

$28–$30 per hour- Pay based on experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
Fabricate, modify, or repair parts for machinery and machine tools
Maintain and repair industrial machines as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop math, metal properties, layouts, and machining procedures
Ensure quality standards and safety procedures are followed

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet production standards
Experience with precision measuring tools preferred to hearing from you!
