The Impact You'll Make: As our Tablet Machine Operator, you'll be the quality guardian for our modern solid dose process equipment, operating advanced equipment including Korsch XL 400 and Kilian KTP 420/590 rotary tablet equipment according to GMP standards. Your precision and expertise directly ensure that every processed and finished product meets FDA's current cGMP regulation to ensure safety and quality.
What Success Looks Like:
- Quality Leadership: Maintain 99.5%+ specification compliance while setting-up, dialing-in, and operating tablet press and auxiliary equipment
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficiency improvements that reduce waste, increase throughput, and quality
- Technical Mastery: Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues independently, minimizing costly production delays
- **Regulatory Excellence**: Ensure all operations meet strict cGMP requirements that our Fortune 500 clients demand
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years hands-on experience with high-speed rotary tablet presses (Korsch, Kilian, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting abilities with tablet press turrets, punch guide damage, die pockets and keyways wear and tear issues, verify punch alignment, and turrets for punch guide damage, die pockets and keyways for wear, and verify punch alignment settings
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gear trains, cam mechanism, and servo-driven components that control compression forces and production yields
