REPORTS TO: Supervisor, Beverage; Dual Rate Supervisor, Beverage

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Bar Porter, you are crucial in creating an entertainment environment for all our guests. Your responsibility to keep the bars and self-service station clean and stocked at all times is not just important but crucial to maintaining our high standards. Your work enables the team to provide exceptional beverage service.
JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Clean the bar area, including mats, floors, sinks, drains, and other bar appliances, in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
- Change the soda bibs and stock all beverage supplies in the designated area
- Receive and restock all supplies delivered from the main warehouse
- Manually push a cart loaded with beer, liquor, and supplies to the various bars as needed during the shift
- Maintain adequate inventory of products and supplies at assigned areas
- Remove trash, empty boxes, and soiled bar towels during the shift
- Provide a safe work environment for employees and guests
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists
- Acknowledge and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Be knowledgeable of casino promotions and events in order to provide answers to guest questions
- Follow the guidelines and liquor laws as defined by the EBCI Tribal ABC Commission and NC ABC Commission and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures in an ethical manner

- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred
- Six months of customer service experience is preferred
- Alcohol safety certification is required (The department will offer training. Must be certified within thirty days of the hire date)
- Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
- Willing to learn and be adaptable, with keen attention to detail and a professional appearance
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hours, perform various movements (stooping, bending, reaching, etc.), respond to visual and aural cues, tap and maneuver a 165-pound keg, lift 50 and manually push 300 pounds
- Capability to handle fast-paced environments, make rational decisions under pressure, operate in mentally and physically stressful situations, and tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality, including secondhand smoke
- Proficiency in English language, manual dexterity for operating office equipment, and willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions and flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
