Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated installation technician to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide inspection and testing of fire alarm, burglar alarm, and video surveillance systems in compliance with all applicable local codes and standards.
• Maintain complete and accurate inspection report documentation, including deficiency repair recommendations.
• Communicate with customer upon arrival and prior to leaving work site.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Communicate inspection status, changes, or problems to supervisor/manager.
• Able to be part of the on-going emergency on-call rotation.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role.
• Adhere to local, corporate and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years experience in testing, inspecting, or servicing fire alarm, burglar alarm, video surveillance, or access control systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.) and basic IP networking
• Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record

• Trade school certification or college graduate (i.e. Lincoln Technicial School, etc.) 

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 depending on experience
